- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 TBSP sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 c. cornmeal
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1.5 c. milk
- 2 TBSP butter
Stir in egg and 1 c. milk until well blended.
Melt 2 TBSP butter in baking dish. Pour in batter. Pour remaining 1/2 c. milk on top.
Bake at least 45 minutes until crusty.
